these are an awesome pair of binoculars. I think the perigeine line was originally developed for birdwatching. I have been using them for a couple of years for varmint hunting and it is amazing how easy it is to pick out a groundhog at 350 or 400 yards with them. I just barely got them back from Steiner who went through them cleaned the glass replaced the eye cups and gave them a clean bill of health. These ran about $1500 new i’ve looked through some Swarovski‘s, and a few other high-end binoculars, and these in my opinion are as good as anything I’ve ever used .
