This Taylor Gold Label is absolutely amazing. I've owned a K24 in the past and played on some other very high-end Koa series, and this guitar has some absolutely amazing flame koa -- like the kind that someone might only see on a custom model costing well over $7k.

I bought this brand-new from Alamo Music Center in San Antonio Texas, and they had just recently gotten it from Taylor. I can tell you that there is something very unique to these Gold Labels. They're lighter and bigger than the grand auditorium, and they can have bass and a fuller sound. The new case design is pretty cool, too. Most especially, the neck is more comfortable to hold than the typical Taylor guitar, and the sound that comes out of this particular Gold Label is so amazing -- it is so responsive to light touch yet has a very high ceiling for volume. The sustain is quite stunning as well.

Why am I selling this? Admittedly, it was an impulse purchase, and I already have too many guitars. It has an Oasis humidifier, as recommended by Taylor. It's in like-new condition. There are no signs of use on the strings or oil marks on the fretboard from use. Retail price is new at $4,799.
