Meet our very special big boy, Dexter! This sweetie is a big lover. Dexter enjoys playing in the yard, long walks in the park, car rides, ice cream cones, and snuggling on the sofa. Dexter takes a minute to get to know you, but then he's your best friend. This guy would make a perfect jogging partner or hiking buddy.

Dexter gets along with other dogs with a proper introduction. He is a bit rough and tumble with his playing, so he would need a patient doggy friend. Dexter has been raised around cats and leaves them alone. Dexter can be a bit stand-offish with strangers and needs to be slowly introduced.

Dexter has gone though a couple puppy training classes and is a smart boy! We strongly encourage adopters to attend a Begining Training Class to help with the bonding process. We offer a rebate of $50 on the adoption fee upon completion of a training class. Dexter is going to make some lucky person very happy!

Dexter was born July 5, 2024 and is a neutered male Rottweiler/Shepherd mix. He came into rescue when he was very little with a cleft palette. His surgeries went great and he is all healed. Dexter is Vaccinated, Dewormed and Microchipped. His adoption fee is $150 ($50 rebate with proof of completion of Training Class).
