It was made by the renowned Japanese master silversmith Seki Takehiko (also spelled Takehiko Seki, 1908–unknown a highly regarded artisan active from the 1930s onward who specialized in exquisite, hand-crafted silver ship models, often with matte finishes and selective gilding for contrast.
