This early 1950’s metal lunchbox PA head is possessed, and or, possesses early tweed baseman style cleans, with a similar 2x6L6G tube chart, minus the low gain inputs fender used until 1959. It’s been owned by & rebuilt by local performing guitarists. Ready for decades of viability, Vocal, violin, harmonica, & guitar Eq range. 2x 1/4 inch high impedance inputs. 105 db gain at input. Interactive channel volume & treble tone control. A heathy amount of negative feedback. It will get loud. 8 & 16 ohms output. A 4 ohm tap exists. Phono input could become a Bluetooth / auxiliary in, as a possible mod. Single wide range treble tone control, FR. 75- 10,00 cycles w/ in +0 db, - 3 db. Factory advertised at 15 usable watts. It has seen a near complete recap from the original two prong & death cap. Some more advertising from the company brochure online. 19 lbs. 1 6J5, 2 65C7, 2 6L6G, 1 5Y3G. Fixed bias. 50 watt OT. Glacier grey over copper plate housing. I am second owner since re-build, @2023. I have a 12” 8 ohm 50 watt Eminence C Rex hemp speaker housed inside of a re- purposed fender cab. Combine the two for a total of $350. It seems to be a safe way to play at a lower volume setting. It’s too loud to be a quiet summers evening suburban bedroom amp, it’s perfect for studio, practice or live performance. Lol, if raising volume anywhere above 2.5 to near noon, a better match may look like an 80-120 watt 2/12” or 4/12” speaker cab set up with this beastly loud & dynamic Stromberg Carlson amp. It’s over built & sounds amazing. Speaker cable included. I’d meet on Wasatch front.
