PayPalThis is a pre computerized, made in Sweden, steel bodied, mechanical Viking sewing machine that was the top of the line Viking in its day when they were built from 1977 to 1978. I have completely refurbished this Viking to work like it did when new.
These were wonderful machines, but after 40+ years, the original grease would become so hardened that the mechanisms behind the dials would become frozen. The only lasting cure that will put these old Vikings back into service is very time consuming and requires special knowledge and skills. The mechanisms must be removed, disassembled, and completely cleaned of all the old grease. The modern synthetic teflon grease that I use in reassembly should last your lifetime. When I go through one of these machines I always replace the internal cam as well as any other part that needs replacing.
After assembly of the machine, there are 30+ factory adjustments to be made and tinkered with until all works as when new.
This machine has the accessories as pictured. I have also included a thumb drive that contains the original instruction manuals.
Texting works best as I am very hard of hearing. I live in Logan, Utah.
