Venmowill sell motor and battery for $500, and the bike for $400. I have a splined truvativ crankset that I can install so it can be ridden without the motor
I've ridden this for 5 years now and put a couple of hundred miles on it before the conversion, and about 600 miles on it with the conversion. The motor was disassembled and regreased last season.
Currently it's a single speed and with this gearing it comfortably stays around 15mph.
It has been an absolute blast and has performed incredibly on tons of trails including Gooseberry Mesa, Zen, Suicidial Tendencies, Vertigo, Levitate, Rush, Jacob's Ladder, LCC quarry trail, everywhere in Eagle Mountain, and more.
I rode those trails with multiple gearing setups, including a Rohloff hub and an Advent X group set with a 42t chainring and it climbed up anything. Putting a Microshift back on there would be cheap and make this thing rip it on trails. As a single speed it wouldn't be ideal for trails but it would be a great commuter if that's more your speed. Price is OBO, I know DIY creations don't sell for much but the motor and battery alone cost around $800.
