About that water cooling:

• It is very easy to disconnect, and does not drip.
• Yes, it does work, and very well; I can run this machine flat out without ever thermal throttling. See below for more.
• It must be used while plugged in; it cannot be used on battery power.

I used this machine for fluid simulations, and now that that project is done, I'm selling it. Yes, a water cooled laptop is uncommon, but it doesn't make this less portable. That is, I leave the water cooler at home, and just take the power supply. The point of the cooler is maximum sustained performance, but that's never been necessary for me away from home; it works just fine without it.

How much difference does it make? A lot. When running simulations, it felt like a small space heater, and as above, it never thermal throttled, and the laptop fans never peaked. I could continue using the computer, even game, without skipping a beat.
