JUST FOUND in my Fathers Hobby Room, a group of VINTAGE R.C. and Control Line Airplane K I T S , and Model Airplane Engines! Some of these are OVER 50 YEARS OLD, and have never been out of the boxes!
Prices range from $15.00 on the smaller control line models (Made by: Sterling- Douglas C-47; Carl Goldberg/Berkeley) up to $200.00 for the really large RC kits (Made by: George Harris Sterling Models; Waco; Sure-Filre Line; GeeBee Line)
Water damage on one of the Super Marine Spitfire models.
All kits are complete, including layout assembly and instruction sheets.
I was a model airplane enthusiest in my youth, and doubt that ANY of these kits can be found nowadays!
Some models, like the EZ-10 and FAST-3 (AA battery-powered moter) are "Kwik-Assembly" that a 12 year old can assemble.
Gas engines that we found are all new, never been started:
2 each: Duke Fox "Eagle60-RC" for large, 60" wingspan kits ($195.00 each)
1 each: Fox 36RC ($145.00)
1 each: Fox 29RC (130.00)
1 each : HB-40 RC, catalog #4050 (German made- The cream of the bunch, but no glow plug came with the engine) ($170.00)
Will bundle or sell seperately.
