VenmoHi, I'm selling a Goal Zero Extreme 350 Portable Battery Generator + Extreme UI Accessory, which plugs into the side of the Goal Zero Extreme 350, adding an AC outlet, a USB outlet, and a 12V Auxiliary power outlet. The old battery inside the generator was worn out and has been removed, so you'll need to add a battery to the generator to make it work.
I tested the generator with a LiFeP04 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery that I own (not included) and everything on the generator works great - including the display, the AC outlet, the USB outlet, and the "Cigarette Lighter" (auxiliary power outlet).
The dimensions of the battery that I pulled from this generator are 7.72" long x 5.14" wide x 6.14" tall (Group U1 size - 33Ah) - and virtually any battery that is equal to or smaller than those dimensions should fit inside.
According to Google's AI overview, these are some of the recommended replacement batteries:
Mighty Max Battery (12V 35AH) GEL/SLA
UPSBatteryCenter 12V 35Ah Replacement
BatterySharks 12V 33Ah SLA
Mighty Max 12V 35AH U1 Lithium (LiFePO4): A lighter, drop-in lithium replacement option.
From my understanding, this generator will charge lead acid batteries using the AC adapter and charging port built into the generator - but if you install a lithium or a LiFeP04 battery (which is what I would recommend due to their lighter weight, higher capacity, and better durability) you'll need to use a third party aftermarket battery charger to charge the battery. This is because the battery controller built into the Yeti is designed to charge lead acid batteries only.
One idea that I've seen online is to drill a small hole through the plastic on the top of the generator and feed two quick connect leads from the battery terminals to the outside of the generator, so that you can quickly and easily connect an aftermarket LiFeP04 charger. It's a little bit of tinkering, but at the end of the day you'll have a reliable Goal Zero generator with the latest battery technology inside of it.
Please note that I'm firm on the price. Cash or Venmo only please.
Note! I'm selling a handful of Goal Zero equipment on KSL right (including two Goal Zero Yeti 400 Generators, a Goal Zero Extreme 350 Generator, and some Goal Zero Boulder 30 Solar Panels) so be sure to check out my other listings if you're interested!
If you purchase two Goal Zero items together, I'll take 15% off the total combined price.
If you purchase three Goal Zero items together, I'll take 20% off the total combined price.
If you purchase all four Goal Zero items together (two Yeti 400 Generators, one Extreme 350 Generator + Extreme UI, and 6 Boulder 30 solar panels) I'll take 25% off the total combined price.
If you could send me an actual typed out message rather than the generic "I'm interested in this item, is it still available?" I'd really appreciate it. I typically ignore the generic messages because of bots and tire kickers. I'm happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos upon request!
Thanks!
