VenmoWe’re offering a select group of Registered Balancer bulls developed for harsh, dry conditions with truly low-input requirements. These bulls thrive with no grain or added supplementation beyond Redmond Salt. They come from moderate-framed (avg. ~1,100 lb), highly fertile, docile, and easy-fleshing mothers. Bred with a strong emphasis on maternal traits and grass efficiency. • Current status: Coming yearlings, ready in mid-March. • Development: Weaned September 28th, grazed on pasture through the end of December 2025, then transitioned to alfalfa-mix hay. No grain ever fed—maintained on fall grass regrowth and alfalfa stubble through December. They are not pushed on feed.
• Herd environment: Our cows run at 5,000–7,200 ft elevation and graze 9–10 months most years.
• Testing: All bulls will be Trich tested, semen evaluated, BVD-PI free, and tenderness tested.
• Cow family strengths: Excellent feet and udders; cows expected to breed in a 45-day window (30 days for heifers) and calve unassisted—even heifers.
• Culling philosophy: Zero tolerance—any bull requiring treatment for illness or injury is eliminated. We prioritize docility, fertility, and hard-working cattle that survive and perform on grass alone. Open cows or those with poor disposition are culled.
• Heifer-safe: The majority of this year’s offering are heifer-safe.
These bulls are built to work in real-world, low-input range conditions. Bull data Excel sheet available upon request. Pictures and videos will be posted in the next couple of weeks. Located in Nephi, UT.
