They produce clean sound, with large presence, keeping up with modern speakers and can even beat them in some aspects like delivering fast deep bass, and full-bodied sound in general. Had a chance to compare a few side by side. The good old "No replacement for displacement" rule still applies to speakers, despite 20 years of progress.

I've owned these for over 15 years. No issues whatsoever. They sound better today than the day I got them. Grills are decent. Solid construction.
