This is a used Schecter C-8 Deluxe, with some cosmetic wear. There’s a scratch on the headstock, some cosmetic damage near the electronics plate, and some scratching at the base of the neck from an overzealous picker.

I got it used, and had a bit of trouble with the neck pickup at first. After cleaning the contacts in the selector switch, the problem hasn’t come back up.

This guitar has a 28” scale length, which is longer than many 8-string guitars, but shorter than some multiscale 8-strings. It can be advantageous for reaching those really low tunings, but it is a bit of a stretch.
