VenmoWe have a 14' MacDon 5000 swather. It is a super solid machine, MacDon is the gold standard for swathers and headers for a reason. There are a couple of cosmetic things that are not effecting its performance. There is a bend in part of the reel, and the outer rubber on the hydraulic hose has cracked in one place, but the cable underneath is sound. We replaced the knives and most of the gards less then 50 acres ago. The auger, crimper, bearings and belts are good. We just don't use it enough to justify keeping it.
