ApplePayArtisan Doodles' Franklin is our tiny toy poodle. He weighs 6.5 lbs, and is a rare -/+ for curl! As a result, he is able to produce puppies with double straight genes, which is very unique for a poodle! He also carries one copy of the parti gene, which means that his puppies will have those adorable white markings that everybody wants.
If you breed for temperament, you’ll never find a better personality. He is calm, friendly, and loving, and has been since he was a puppy. He was literally the calmest puppy I’ve ever seen, and he passes those traits on to his puppies!
Everyone who meets him wants to take him home, from the dog sitter and extended family, to random people on the street. He is our family baby and we are all obsessed!
Franklin is genetic tested and clear of most inheritable diseases. He carries one copy of PRA-PRCD.
He is available for TCI, or 2 rounds of Artificial Insemination performed by me.
I have performed hundreds of AI’s, and I'm happy to work with both experienced and new breeders. It's comforting to have someone that you can text for advice during those nerve-racking moments! Progesterone testing is strongly advised, and we will offer a free rebreed if you’ve had progesterone testing and your female doesn’t end up pregnant.
