Skye is searching for her forever home, and we know her perfect person is out there. We believe she’s a husky/Aussie mix, under a year old (around 8–9 months), with a heart that’s just as big as her bright, curious eyes.
She walks beautifully on a leash and would make an amazing trail companion — the kind of dog who’s happiest trotting beside you on summer hikes, soaking up fresh air and new adventures together.
Skye’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was found as a stray and spent time on her own, which has left her with some anxiety — especially when she bonds with someone and they leave. Because of this, she’ll be seeing a vet to explore medication options that can help her feel more secure and confident. With patience, love, and consistency, she’s already beginning to blossom.
Every day, Skye comes a little more out of her shell. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gets excited to meet new people once she feels safe. She appears to do well with cats and would just need a meet-and-greet if you have other dogs to make sure everyone’s a good match.
Skye is potty trained, will be fully vaccinated, and spayed — she’s truly ready to start her next chapter.
