I purchased this last year during a cruise that stopped in the Port of Kotor in the country of Montenegro.
In the middle of the walled old town is a small plaza where local artists show their products; and this was bought from the artist who made it.
As the pictures show, this vase, which measures approximately 5 1/2 inches tall and is about 3 1/2 inches wide at the lip; is VERY elaborate in its decorations and detail! The artist told me that the common uses for this small pitcher is either for olive oil, but can be used for cream/milk for one's coffee.
The pitcher is in perfect condition; no chips, scratches, breaks, cracks, etc. That is because it has been in a huge amount of bubble wrap since it was first bought and carried home in my carryon luggage.
Only selling because my new older home is small and has very limited storage and no display surfaces.
I paid the equivalent of $36.00 for this; so my asking price of $10.00 for such an ornate handmade pitcher seems like a very fair price. The artist told me that he had almost 4 hours of labor making this.
If interested, please call or text Randy @ 801-830-7556.
