ZelleThe Wyoming Fishing Company is once again, offering the Winter Rates from now until April 1, 2025 for our full day guided fishing float trips on the Green River, below Fontenelle Dam in Wyoming. We mostly do fly fishing, but will take spin guys. The weather is about to his 50 degrees next week here…great time to hop in one of my guides’ boats. Fishing will be great with these unseasonably warm temps.
Anglers must bring their own lunch/drinks, guides will provide flies and rods. Winter fishing can be very productive for trout, as well as lots of whitefish sized 15”-20”. These whitefish offer good filets for the smoker! Beginners to experts are welcome. Nymphing, streamer and maybe dry fly fishing all options during the winter months. The Wyoming Fishing Company has been guiding winter fly fishing trips below Fontenelle Dam for a decade and is local, insured, permitted and experienced. We are also permitted to guide the famed Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge of the Green River. This section of river does not open to guided activity until April 1 each year. We are booking those trips now as well. Both section of river offer shots at trophy trout that you won’t catch anywhere else.
We also do trout spey and spey fishing trips. Ask if you to learn how to spey cast or up your game. This is our Segway to our Alaskan Steelhead Operation we run. Headed there in April and we have spots open for wild, rainforest steelhead. Inquire for more details!
No reason to ski right now, come fish with us!
Trip Cost: $550 for 1-2 Anglers per boat per day.
50% deposit required to book.
Multiple boats available for larger groups of 3-6 anglers. Beginners to experts welcome.
Anglers meet guide around 9 am at the Fontenelle Store. Must help guide with shuttle. Fishing until 3-4pm.
We sell these trips for $700-$800 a day during peak season, this is a screaming deal! Grab a buddy or pony up and pay for your own boat with a local, Wyoming Fishing Company guide, all to yourself for day. Cold morning we bring heaters and coffee, most days produce trophy trout. This is a great remedy for cabin fever!
