Description
Our black copper marans come from a combination chickens we had breed and those from other local breeders. Their lineage includes Greenfire Farms lines, Thornfield lines, and an award winning line imported directly from France, among other things. I breed for egg color AND towards compliance to breed standards.
Our eggs are collected fresh, carefully and properly stored, and are available on first come, first serve basis. First picture shows eggs from our Black Copper Marans hens, the next pictures are of the parents, and then there is a picture of chicks BCM chicks hatched from these eggs. Egg color can vary some. I also have in more limited quantities some olive colored eggs as shown in the last picture and some blue colored eggs that have been crossed with a Black Copper Marans rooster if you would like olive eggers. We are currently getting high fertility rates with our most recent batch at 100%. However, fertility and hatch rates can vary and are not guaranteed.
$5/ BCM egg. $4/egg for olive egger eggs. Please no Sunday inquiries.
