When charging, the cable sometimes needs to be manipulated a bit to get it to charge. I recently purchased a new heart rate monitor, which uses a similar cable, and the new cable charges the watch without any issues, but the watch is being sold with the original cable. Bottom line, the charging cable may not be working perfectly, although it does work, but the watch should charge fine with a new cable.
In person pickup, or $10 for shipping. I travel to SLC frequently.
