Reliable, moddable, and still one of the most popular entry-to-mid level 3D printers out there. This Ender 3 has been lightly used and thoughtfully upgraded, making it a solid machine for anyone who wants to learn 3D printing instead of just pushing a button and hoping for magic. Has not been used in 2+ years but I fired it up to clean and test and everything still works.

What to Expect

This is not a plug-and-play appliance. The Ender 3 is more of a tinkerer’s machine than a turnkey printer. If you enjoy dialing things in, learning settings, tweaking hardware, and actually understanding how your prints succeed (or fail), this printer is perfect. If you want “hit print and walk away forever,” you’ll want something else. I also needed to replace the thermistor at one point in time and never got around to soldering the wires together (hence the wire nuts).
