Antique dining room set for restoration project.

If you enjoy woodworking or furniture restoration, this would be a great acquisition.

My wife and I acquired this 6-person dining room set nearly 40 years ago. We were told that at that time, it was over 50 years old. We used this for many years, but after moving to Orem, we found that it wouldn't fit in the kitchen, so it's been in storage.

We are now moving, and I can neither store it or take it with us. I would hate to see this go to a landfill.

This set includes the dining room table (77x43), along with six ormate chairs (two with armrests), and an extension piece to make the table even longer.

I need to emphasize that this is a restoration project. All wood pieces will need to be stripped, sanded down, re-stained, and re-finished. The chairs will need to be reupholstered.

Yes, it's a project, but if you have any skill with a sander, and know how to stain and finish wood you'll be rewarded with a beautiful piece of furniture for use in even the best home.
