PayPalLimited Collectors Edition Full-Size Pinocchio Marionette #60 of 200 Made Especially for Walt Disney Home Video by Bob Baker Marionettes. Only 200 of these were ever made. It was delivered to the Video Distribution facility I managed along with the Home Video release of Pinocchio on VHS on July 16, 1985.
Pawn Stars featured this in 2024. They bought 2 Pinocchio marionettes for their store from someone for $9,500. Their expert appraiser told them that this is an exact replica of the marionette used by Walt Disney when they created the original animated classic, where the animators watched someone manipulate the marionette so that they could see how to draw it, and they they should fetch at least $6,000 each.

I have taken good care of him because he is so rare. I once dressed as Geppetto for Halloween in 1991 and took him for a little walk (indoors on carpet at my work and a family Halloween party). No children have ever been allowed to play with him.
The marionette's head, body and feet are made of hand-crafted vacuform plastic. Its hands are a thermo-netting composition, and its jointed arms and legs are alder wood. It was hand painted, lacquer finished, and his costume was hand sewn. The marionette stands 38 tall when suspended (56 to the top of the strings), and it weighs a surprisingly light 8 pounds.
Because I have taken him out of the box, I am prepared to sell him for $3,000 (reduced from 5,000) or best offer.
