VenmoThis is 100 % original and in very good condition. This is from the 1920's. If your looking for a piece of history this is it. The wooden handle is 62 inches long, just over five feet. The long blade is metal and Very sharp. The blade is 27 inches long. The blade is adjustable for whatever you needed it to cut. A scythe is a tool used for cutting crops such as wheat or hay. The wooden handle has two hand holds to use this. This is a great example of an American farm tool that was wildy used in the 1800's thru the early 1900's. Most of these tools didn't have this nice long handle or the long blade. This is a beautiful, rustic and unique piece to use or the hang on a wall for display. Perfect for a Grim Reaper prop.
