To any wine collector, this would be a fun middle piece on your table or anywhere you would like to display it. The top does open and then lock shut. I would change it up every holiday and surround them with Christmasy decorations or even fall time, decorations, etc. You can even put any color tall candle in it. It would look very pretty as a centerpiece. Still in great condition with a little bit of rust on the bottom of it. We just have up dated our decor and don’t have room for it anymore. So my loss is your guys gain.
