VenmoBuckskin Welsh Pony – Kid Safe & Cart Trained
16-year-old buckskin (born 2011) (slightly under 13Hands) Welsh pony mare. This has been my 6 and 9 year old horse. We have owned her for around 7 years. She has been used mainly has a trail horse and ridden in our arena. Been around buffalo, cows. She was used previously in parades and birthday party at her previous home over 7 years ago. She is sweet and gentle, making her an excellent kids’ pony, but she is also sturdy enough for a small adult to ride comfortably. I am 5’6 and can walk, trot and lope her and she keeps up with full size horses. She has also ridden with a dog on her as well. She does have narrow withers and would do best with a breast collar.
She has experience both in the arena (in my back yard) and out on trail rides. She has been to the mountains and at antelope island a lot where there is a ton of buffalo. She is calm, willing, and easy to ride, with no buck, bolt, or kick while riding. She loads great in the trailer, doesn’t spook easily, and has a great mind. She has hard feet and has never ever been lame. Extremely hard feet and requires no shoes.
She is also trained to pull a cart and does very well driving. I do have a cart and harness available that can be sold with her if desired. ($500)
She is partly blind in one eye, and has been blind in that eye from a horse kick from 5 years ago. but it does not affect her performance or demeanor. Doesn’t require any maintenance. All of these video are of her with a blind 1 eye.
We are not in a rush to sell and love her dearly and will be picky on who she goes to.
Located in West Haven, UT
Only selling due to limited space, and we are looking for a horse that can accommodate a larger adult rider.
This pony has been a true gem for our family and would be a wonderful addition for a kid, or family pet.
