PayPalOld Craftsman vices are often advertised as “vintage.” But the people who buy them aren’t putting them in museums; they put them on their workbenches. The reason being that they were built to last for centuries, with practical features. Keep in mind that this one was new back in the day when, if you managed to somehow break it, you just took it back to Sears for a brand new, no-questions-asked replacement.
Features include a long 6” opening; deep 3” throat depth; 240-degree, 4-bolt swivel base; pipe jaws; reversible main jaws; 5/8” diameter, practically indestructible, Acme-thread main screw; and anvil body. (Some features people don’t really think about, until they actually try to use their vice. And then, for example, discover to their dismay that their vice doesn’t actually open long enough or deep enough to fit the piece they want to work on). This one is in excellent condition mechanically, good cosmetically for its age, the jaws are like new.
KSL Classifieds makes it easy to buy and sell with peace of mind. Check our safety tips and quickly report anything that doesn’t look right to keep your experience smooth and secure.
