This was made in about the 1920's. I believe it is from the Weller Pottery Company. It is a drip glaze design that was all the rage at that time. This has a pretty green on the top that blends into a chocolate brown on the bottom. The glaze is a gloss. This measures 6 1/2 inches tall x 6 3/4 inches across the top, and the base is 4 inches wide. There is a tiny glaze skip under the top rim. Inside the pot there are small flecks of pottery, that are inside the glaze. There is a little bit of hard water inside that I have not tried to remove. There is a tiny spot where the glaze is missing. There are no markings on this planter. It has a classic design that any pottery lover would love. It is about 100 years old and the wear is consistant to the age and use. It is a beautiful anitque planter or pot. Must see. Price is firm.
