This is a particularly fine playing instrument made during the Norlin years. There are quite a few refined appointments including seven ply binding on both the front and the back, flower and vine inlay on the headstock, slotted block fretboard inlays and a five ply bound pick guard.
This one is completely original including the frets. There is very little playwear on the frets and Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. The pick guard is original and the pick guard hardware is included but the bracket that supports the pick guard has been replaced. As is the very common on these, the original pickguard exhibits signs of off gassing and has deteriorated the chrome on the pickguard cover. All the parts of the guitar are original including the branded tail piece, pots, knobs and bridge as well as the tuners and truss rod cover.
Included with the sale is a firm fitting vintage hard shell case with 5 latches and a plush blue interior, not sure if it original to this guitar but it is definitely of a similar construction to 70's Gibson cases.
