Rehoming 2 boys from South Jordan, UT. Critter Nation cage included, if needed.
Archie (gray) and Skunk (black/dark brown) are brothers from the same litter. They are 2 years 2 months old. Skunk has a clean bill of health, with no signs of aging (he is a spry lil guy). Archie did a round of antibiotics recently for upper respiratory disease, which was caught early, but still something worth disclosing. We've had them since they were babies.
I am rehoming them because I won't be getting new rats for a few years, and I am nervous about one of them dying (likely Archie, if I were to guess) before the other and trying to rehome just one; as sad as it is to prematurely say good-bye, I know rehoming will be less stressful if they have each other. I'm looking for them to go to a home with other cagemates so one of them isn't alone when the other is gone.
Archie got his name because it means "brave." He is the first to explore new places, cage arrangements, and people. He is a pretty trusting rat. Skunk is stealthy and QUICK. He loves to burrow.
They have no history of aggression with each other, their late brother, or with humans. They are handled daily.
Reach out with any other questions. Thanks!
