$3,995.00

Early Spring Special: $3,995 2004 XL 1200 R Harley Davidson Sportster | Roadster.
Rubber-mounted motor, recently rebuilt to stage 3, i.e., Andrew N6 cams (.500 lift w/longer duration), new valves & springs, ports re-ground, oversized Wisco pistons (forged high-silicon aluminum alloys), oversized bore in the original aluminum brushed jugs. * I have receipts for all the new parts installed during the rebuild.
Bossini two-into-one exhaust. Progressive front fork springs upgrade. The '04 performance heads are similar to the Buell XB Heads. 49K miles on frame, but the rebuilt motor has only 975 miles on it (just broken in). Roughly 45 miles/gallon. 5-speed transmission. Electric start with a new Duracell battery (220 CCA). CV carb rejetted after rebuilding (45 mm idle, 95 mm main). Arlen Ness reusable-oil air filter with a custom ceramic cover. Relatively new white-wall Dunlop tires (suitable for a couple of seasons yet). Forward controls. An extra 4-gallon gas tank is available upon request (last pic). View of the primary (main) seal in the video, which is running in 5th gear, by the way. :) Note: Transmission has been restored as well (gaskets/seals).
FYI: Roadster vs. Sportster O.E.M. --> redlines at 6K vs. 5.5, tack was stock on this model, dual front brakes, 2+ inches taller suspension (for better cornering), first year of the rubber-mounted XL 1200 R engine. Performance heads are OEM-standard on the Roadster, improving breathing. The Roadster is more akin to a Buell motorcycle than a stock or standard Harley-Davidson Sportster. *No test rides, unless you're a serious buyer. Also includes all OEM parts (e.g., handlebars, stock air cleaner, and OEM 2-up seat) if you want the bike stock. The color is Impact Blue!
