Hi - I'm Addie Achan. I'm based in Utah but have been in contact with a charity in Kenya, Restore Hope for Street Children, who takes care of orphaned children. They use devices to educate children, and currently all 46 children are sharing 1 laptop (the founder's personal machine) I'm collecting old laptops and smartphones (as long as they work!) to send over to the charity.

Restore Hope for Street Children is a community-led, refugee-founded nonprofit organization based in Kenya, supporting orphaned and highly vulnerable children in Kakuma Refugee Camp. Founded in 2024 by Patrick Nyongolo, a survivor of displacement, the organization is grounded in lived experience and strong community trust.

We provide essential support including food, clothing, education, psychosocial care, and life skills, while also focusing on restoring dignity, resilience, and long-term self-reliance. Restore Hope exists to ensure that no child is left behind because of displacement or poverty.
