I'm a three-year-old cattle dog who may need a moment to take in new surroundings; I prefer to survey the landscape before deciding it's safe to cross. But once I'm given time and patience, I start to find my footing. I'm curious about the world and like to observe what's going on around me, even if I'm not ready to dive right in. I'd do best in a calm, steady home that lets me move at my own pace, build trust naturally, and approach when I'm ready. With gentle guidance and consistent routines, I'll slowly carve out confidence - after all, even the most breathtaking canyons were formed with time and care.
