"Ginger" was raised and bred on the famous Weavers Ranch near Great Falls, MT. She was ridden as a young horse in all aspects of ranch work and retired to raising babies. She has produced some top notch foals for our program. Ginger is Ranching Heritage Challenge. She is a really well made sorrel mare that is easy to be around. She foals out easy and her foals are always athletic. Our farrier loves her feet too! She can be hard to give vaccines, we place her in a stock to make it easier. Easy to catch, trim, load, ultrasound and foal out. She has windpuffs on the back pasterns, but is sound as a broodmare. She is a heavy milker and starts building an udder 2-3 months prior to foaling. Lst couple years she gets edema a few weeks before foaling.
