ZelleAs you can see in the video, this skimmer was recently in service and producing good, dark skimmate from my 150 gallon aquarium. It’s in excellent working condition, and looks pretty good for an older skimmer as well. It’s obviously broken in and should start producing skimmate for you right away.
New Classic 150-INTs go for $360 and are a “V2” (my term) version with a screw gate. This is an older (albeit works just like new) “V1” (my term) version of the Classic 150-INT. It has a wedge pipe water control vs. the screw gate. The wedge pipe works the same as the screw gate to finely control the water output; it’s just a different method of doing so. Other than having a red cup lid vs. a black cup lid, they are EXACTLY the same. Same body, same collection cup, same plumbing, even the same Aquatrance 2000S pinwheel pump.
