PayPalFreshly assembled, tested.
brand new screen, sound boost (it's loud for a Gameboy, slightly vibrates the hands). HDMI addon (connects to the TV and displays games and plays sounds through the HDMI connection, will not play sounds through a Bluetooth bar.)
due to how the circuitry of Gameboys work, there are a few nitpicks. the sound has a maximum of 3.3 volts, so the sound traveling through HDMI will be quieter (need to turn volume 2x regular, 100% for 50%) and to transfer sound to HDMI, you turn the GBA sound slider down. However, when unplugging HDMI and returning to regular handheld mode, you have to wait for the internal sound capacitor to recharge. During this time as you turn sound slider back up, the sound will be quiet and crackly and take roughly 10 seconds to become regular again.
the shell glows in the dark, and the buttons are 15 dollar premium slick/gold buttons (slick oily feel)
there are two sources for these HDMI GBA online, one is eBay that go for 410+ dollars, the other is Gameboy custom.com which sell for 399 before tax.
this is one I did myself and has been tested and works perfectly. it has new shoulder buttons as well.
I am asking 389 firm, but I will take 2389^2*(1/2*2) ~10-20% difference as offers, but that's bear minimum.
if you have any questions feel free to answer them.
(ps, I have made sure the solder connections are premium enough to not break anytime soon, but with so many cables, flipping it open aggressively is not advised ever. And ideally, you will want a wireless mini HDMI dongle to not snag which is 90 dollars). If it ever breaks I can fix it for you for 20 dollars, because no one else fixes them. it shouldn't if you don't throw it on the ground though.
