VenmoInherited this abandoned, falling apart bike years ago and rebuilt it from the ground up. From research I narrowed it down to an old Japanese Araya from either the late 80s or early 90s. I stripped parts, deep cleaned every original part that could be salvaged, and pieced it back together. Sanded the frame, removing rust, and repainted/sealed it protect from the elements. replaced parts that needed it, and got it running again with a single ring up front and original 6 speed on the rear. Super fun around town commuter, great ride for bar hopping, short work commutes, or just a pleasure ride down a bike path!
I did all the work myself - I've worked in bike shops for over 10 years, so worry not, the rig is dialed. Any questions feel free to ask!
