I have a 4.8, and two 5.3 LS Shortblocks. The 4.8 does have AFM. One of the 5.3's has AFM, the other does not. The 4.8 and one of the 5.s's are complete short blocks, with timing covers, and oil pans. The other 5.3, (the one without AFM), is just the block, crank, and rods and pistons. To my knowledge, none of them are damaged. They both turn over just fine. If they are damaged, you are welcome to return it. I do have some misc parts I could throw in, too. Exhaust manifolds, a bracket or two, etc. Will sell any of them for $100 each. Call 801-244-1599
