This great gain pedal gets a thick attack and smooth, amp like saturation by using a mix of op-amp and FET components. The drive control takes you through a wide sweep from subtle breakup to growling distortion that shares a note bloom similar to fuzz but with wider dynamic range. Plus the MXR FET Driver has active HI and LO controls which let you cut or boost a fine tuned set of frequencies to better suit your humbuckers or single coils.

Controls:

• Level - Overall volume
• Gain - Distortion ranging from light overdrive to almost fuzz-like
• Hi - Active treble control allowing you to boost or cut high end
• Lo - Active bass control allowing you to boost or cut low end
• Hi Cut - Removes some of the top end fizz.
