My name is Christa, and I'm helping my neighbor rehome her beautiful Bengal boy, Ozzy.
Ozzy is looking for his new best friend and cuddle companion! He is the sweetest, most affectionate boy who loves playtime but honestly, more than anything, he just wants to relax, lounge in the sun, and soak up all the love without having to fight for his territory. He loves seeing what you are up to and keeping a curious eye on everything going on around him. He is not very chatty but he does say hello from time to time which honestly just makes it even more special when he does!
Let's talk about how stunning this boy is for a moment because Ozzy truly is something special to look at. He has the most breathtaking rosette markings, that rich gorgeous Bengal coat, and the strong athletic stature that makes this breed so incredible. He looks like a little wild leopard and yet he just wants to curl up next to you on the sofa. The contrast of his wild beauty and his gentle loving nature is really something else!
At just a little over two years old Ozzy is in the prime of his life and in absolutely wonderful health. He is fully up to date on all of his vaccinations and has been well cared for. He has so many beautiful years ahead of him and has so much love left to give to the right person!
Right now poor Ozzy is really struggling. The home he's in has a very territorial cat and Ozzy has been stressed and frightened for a while now. When Bengals feel threatened by another cat claiming their space they can spray as a stress response and that's exactly what's been happening with him. It breaks our hearts because this isn't who Ozzy really is at all. In a calm home where he is the only cat he is an absolute dream and just a happy loving Bengal boy finally living his best lazy life!
Dogs are completely fine with him, so no worries if you have a pup at home.
We wish we could keep him ourselves but we run a cattery and since Ozzy is neutered he isn't able to stay with us as a stud. He deserves so much better than being surrounded by cats all day when he'd much rather be someone's one and only cuddle buddy!
We have had a tremendous amount of interest in Ozzy and honestly it is no surprise. He is a purebred hypoallergenic Bengal with stunning rosettes and an incredible presence and we are asking a rehoming fee of $555 which is honestly very understandable for a cat of his caliber. We are not just looking for anyone, we are looking for the RIGHT home for him and we are taking our time to make sure he ends up exactly where he belongs.
Time is of the essence! If Ozzy is not placed into the right home by the end of this week we have made the commitment to hold onto him ourselves rather than see him go to a pound because that is simply not an option we are willing to accept for this sweet boy. That said we would love nothing more than to see him settled into his forever home as soon as possible because every day he spends stressed and unsettled is a day he deserves better.
