I can meet you at Toads in Marriot-Slaterville to hit them if you’d like—both on the range and/or the chipping area. Prices are firm and very fair.
$25-Taylormade 50*09 R series with a tour sole grind and made from carbon steel. This is an outstanding gap wedge and has a really responsive feel. Original KBS wedge shaft and new Winn grip. This one has a very confidence inspiring look and feel with modern touches added!
$20-Mizuno 50*06 is an MP-T4 with quad cut grooves and the classic Muzzy grain flow forged head. This gap wedge is buttery smooth and the original True Temper spinner shaft will help get a very responsive launch (typically mid to lower trajectory with the ability to generate lots of spin if desired). Brand new grip and there is some face/chrome wear, but lots of life left!!!
$20-Cleveland 56Low bounce(typically 6) Tour Action 900 sand wedge with a form forged chrome head. The shaft is the original True Temper/Cleveland wedge shaft and very good Lamkin crossline grip. Again, there is some face/chrome wear, but there is years of life left in this sand wedge. Very smooth, responsive and classic both in looks and feel!
$25-Cleveland 56* Tour Action Reg 588 sand wedge with the RTG forged head. The bounce is likely a 6* or 8* as that was pretty standard then. Besides a mild steel or oil-can Vokey maybe, you will not find a better performing, feeling or more classic wedge. This one is perfectly rusted all over and has the original True Temper/Cleveland wedge shaft and brand new Winn grip. If you prefer, with about 20 mins of work, this guy would shine up very nicely. I gamed it once during this bonus winter golf season we are having and the guys I was with complimented its looks, asked to hit it and both loved it. I didn’t think to sell it to them mid-round! I have a mild steel Vokey we can compare and contrast so you see and feel what I am trying to describe. Very, very cool club!!!
