I only used twice before I started growing my beard and haven't fully shaved my face since. I bought this on vacation in the PNW from a local carpenter. I can't remember the wood he used, but it's a local wood burl with white and blue swirled resin.

The brush is silvertip badger hair and the razor handle is compatible with Gillette Fusion blades. It also includes a silver soap dish. This was separate that my brother bought me in Italy with some fancy beard soap, but that has since dried out.
