I bought these and had them on our 2010 4Runner for about 3 weeks. My wife wanted something different with a lower step, so we took them off. They are in prestine condition. They are lightweight, but extremely strong stainless steel. They aren't going to rust. I got them from CarID.com. They will fit 2010, 2011, 2012 4Runners. Here is the description on that website.
