ZelleVintage 1980s Martin Stinger electric guitar in original condition with the classic red crackle finish. These Martin electrics were made during the 1980s super-strat era and have developed a strong cult following among players and collectors. They’re getting harder to find locally, especially in original, unmodified condition like this one. This is a solid, well-built guitar with a comfortable fast maple neck and classic single-coil tone. Bright, clear, and punchy — great for classic rock, blues, 80s rock, or anyone wanting a fun vintage electric that stands out from the usual Strat copies. Condition & Features: All original pickups and hardware Original red crackle finish (very 80s and harder to find) Smooth maple neck with comfortable action Classic single-coil configuration Tremolo bridge Fully functional and plays well Normal light cosmetic wear for its age (see photos) No major damage or structural issues Includes gig bag These were part of Martin’s electric guitar line from the 1980s and have become collectible over time. If you know the Stinger series, you know they have a unique place in guitar history and a tone that cuts nicely through a mix. A little personal note: This guitar takes me back to when I first started playing and everything felt possible. It has that kind of inspiring, fun feel when you pick it up. Unfortunately I can’t play much anymore due to arthritis, so I’d really like this to go to someone who will enjoy it and give it the attention it deserves rather than just sit in storage. Great for: Players wanting a cool vintage guitar 80s guitar fans Collectors of Martin electrics Anyone wanting something different from the usual Fender/Epiphone options Price: $240 OBO Fair offers considered, especially for a straightforward sale. Local pickup preferred. Cash or Venmo. You’re welcome to plug it in and try it out. Cross-posted, so first committed buyer takes it.
