The wife and I recently rescued this old boy after his last owner got dementia pretty severely. We were hoping we could give him a couple years of hunting and then sunsetting him.

Unfortunately, my other two dogs refuse to let him join the pack, so we need to start looking for a new home for him.

We were told he is about nine and has hunted ducks his whole life, but we haven't taken him out. He has plenty of energy for his age and will play fetch for hours. His eyes are a little foggy, but he still seems to see well. He responds to verbal and hand commands as well as pointed directions. He does well with other dogs, but my dogs don't do great with him. He was an outside dog his whole life from what I've gathered, but he's done pretty well indoors since we've had him.

He is a very sweet dog, and doesn't NEED to hunt, I feel like he would do great as a family dog, so long as he is walked and you throw his ball until your arm falls off. he is kennel trained and loves to play. It will take a few days for him to warm up to you. I don't have papers, so I can't guarantee he is purebred, but he is fixed so breeding isn't really a selling point.

He will come with his bed, a kennel, toys, food, bowls, collar and leash. We were told his name is Bodie, but his collar says Duke. he responds to Bo.
