This Is Brewster. Hes 75lbs of pure love! my family adopted him 4 years ago when he was 1. so hes about 5 years old now. We love him so dearly. He is the best boy! He Loves to talk, he'll give ya a soft "woo-woo" every morning. Hes potty trained, and he knows basic commands like " come, stay, sit, no, lay down, outside, go potty, go play, treat, try, ball, etc" hes so smart and loving, super playful, & loves to cuddle and lay right on your feet. this poor boy recently lost his little brother/litter mate in a traumatic way and now hes kinda skiddish. Bruce loves dogs and is gentle with kids and toddlers. Though, recently he has become very shy and will keep his distance at first until he feels he can trust you. I'm hoping to find someone or a family locally that would be willing to take him in who wouldnt mind sending me updates and pictures. It breaks my heart it has comes to this but life has hit me from every side and I'm really struggling financially; Ive had to take on a second job & now Bruce is spending alot more time inside alone. I wish I had the time & money to care for him properly, Ive tried my best with the limited resources I have & I fear its just not enough... so I've decided to put my pride aside & do whats best for our sweet boy. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and is very healthy as far as I know. he's socialized with other dogs, and very familiar with the local dog parks. He loves car rides and hikes in the mountains. Bruce is high energy during the early morning and early evening, mid day- he likes to snooze on the cold vent. he's a good eater, and he doesn't rummage through the trash. His coat is extreamly thick. it is very prone to matting. he will need routine bi-weekly brush outs which he is very good at sitting for in 20min intervals, and if you have the financial availability, you could professionally groomed every 8-10weeks. He is used to a large fenced yard that he can play in freely, though he prefers to be an indoor dog. He is not kennel trained. He will go in one at the vets office under duress but he has never needed a kennel. I am very nervous about putting him up for adoption, this is an absolute last resort. If you believe you have the means to care for him and that he would fit well into your life style reach out to me and I will send you a short questionnaire about your living situation and why you think you would be a good fit for stepping in and raising such a good boy! small rehoming fee of $100. feel free to reach out with any questions.
