We can use solar panels to offset our electricity bills, thanks to Utah House Bill 340 signed into law in 2025, and we don’t have to ask anyone for permission! This hardware kit I have assembled meets standards set forth by HB 340. It will allow you to create a “portable solar generation device,” AKA produce your own electricity and reduce your electric bill everyday for years to come! These systems are portable so if you move you can take them with you.
