Dottie is a sweet, energetic girl who deserves an amazing home. She’s primarily a Border Collie mix (previous owner said her dad was an American Bully with a little Australian Shepherd), but she definitely acts like a Border Collie more than anything.
About Dottie:\
- Breed: Border Collie / American Bully / Australian Shepherd mix\
- Age: ~3 years old\
- Weight: ~40 lbs (medium-sized)\
- Very energetic and playful\
- Great with kids – loves being around them\
- Great with other dogs — she’s social, friendly, and does well around them\
- Obedient and eager to please once she gets to know you\
- Very used to being outside and having room to run – happiest with a yard or property where she can spend lots of time outdoors\
- Knows basic commands and listens well once she bonds with you
Health & Vet Care: Dottie is up to date on all required vaccinations. Current vaccines expire 02/26/2026, and I plan to have them renewed before then:\
- Bordetella (oral)\
- Rabies\
- Annual diagnostic testing
She is not spayed yet, but I’m fully willing to cover the cost if that’s preferred or required by her new family.
Why I’m Rehoming Her: I got Dottie in 2022 when she was a puppy, and I love her very much. Some big life changes are happening — my partner and I are expecting a baby, and I’ll be moving in with her family while we save for a home. They already have two dogs, and adding a third just isn’t realistic.
I’m not looking to “get rid of” Dottie. I’m looking for the right loving, caring owner or family who will give her the time, attention, and exercise she deserves, especially someone who can let her enjoy being outside like she’s used to.
