I picked up this pendant light thinking I'd change out the one over our kitchen sink. Decided not to swap them as I didn't want to change out the other lights that matched in the kitchen/dining area. It measures 51" top to bottom. 44" of that is the pole that connects the base to the actual ficture. The poles do unscrew, and I'd imagine you could remove a section if you needed it to be shorter.
