A limited number of Bally Hy-Roll rolldown arcade bowling games were made in 1947.
I have seen only one for sale over the years. It sold for $6000.
It looks like a wooden pinball machine. Wooden balls are rolled down the table under the glass. They depress buttons which add to the score. Land a ball in the middle hole and the ball shoots to the upper tier, adding extra points to the total.
As an electrical engineer, I'm amazed what they could do with analog relays and lights.
My grandfather repaired pinball machines. He gave me the hy-roll in 1971. I cleaned the relays and spent happy times playing it. It has sat covered in my basement since. I am finishing my basement and my wife says I dont have room for it. So, make a reasonable offer.
